Head Injury Support is a local charity set up to give support and information to people with an acquired brain injury, their family and carers living in the Newry and Mourne areas, and outlaying areas of the Southern Health and Social Care Trust. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for people with brain injury, their carers and their families. Our Vision is to provide:
•Persons living wi

th a brain injury are supported to lead fulfilling and satisfying lifestyles
•Every carer has opportunities for support and respite care and access to information and advice.
•The wider public to have an understanding of the challenges faced by people with brain injury and their carers. Our Aims are:
•To provide a greater understanding of brain injury
•To make a difference to the lives of people with acquired brain injury as well as their families, friends and carers
•To promote independence, choices, opportunities and social inclusion
•To deliver services throughout Southern HSCT area
