A Valentine’s Themed Sing at The Happiness Cafes in Kilkeel. A fun morning, and lovely decorations!

The Happiness Cafe is a beacon of hope, providing unique and invaluable benefits for those navigating the complexities of dementia first-hand.

Started in 2019, the Happiness Cafés offers much more than just a cup of coffee; it promises a supportive community and a pathway to joy and connection for those dealing with memory loss.

We were very glad to provide some festive music for the charity, and had a wonderful sing!

We had an amazing time today with the fab ladies and gents from the Rock Choir who very kindly donated their session with us.

A great time was had by every one of us. Thank you all so very much Rock Choir Northern Ireland • Choirs led by Beth McNally.

What a night! Some craic! 🤩

🥰 How heartwarming to see the crowd of Glastonbury come together for Lewis Capaldi when singing "Someone You Loved".

Rock Choir Northern Ireland's current chosen charity is NI Mental Health Arts Festival- an extremely fitting charity as we learn this song in sessions.

"Someone You Loved" tugs at our heartstrings as we sing it, but we have been looking at it from the perspective of the songwriter, and his battle with his own mental health struggles. Lewis Capaldi found this performance extremely challenging, but after taking time away to heal, was able to deliver a powerful performance again in 2025.

We sing this song as an act of solidarity with those facing mental health challenges, a reminder that it’s okay to struggle and to heal ❤️

The Rockies had a go at this fun warm-up this week , the theme tune for “The Traitors”, a TV show that has been the talk of the town this past week!

We did this fun vid in honour of Rachel Duffy, WINNER of the Season 4- and a Newry woman no less!!

Well done Rachel!!

Our toes were cold but our hearts were warm!!
🌊🌊🌊

Last Sunday, we took part in “Dunk for Dan”, an annual event at Warrenpoint Baths.

The community gets together and braves the Irish Sea by putting a toe, a leg, or a complete dive in, in support of the family of Dan Spiers, who lived with Cystic Fibrosis and passed away in 2017 at the age of 20. The feeling of community and support was incredible ❤️

We were glad to support Geraldine, his mother, who is a fellow Rockie!
