Neighbourhood Newry

Neighbourhood Newry Spicing up the arts and cultural scene in Newry and Mourne. We have run a number of successful free events and will continue to do so.

In it's basic form, 'Neighbourhood' is a company with a social conscience and a drive to deliver inspirational programmes and events to audiences across Newry and Mourne and beyond, South Down, South Armagh and Border Regions. We aim to engage young people in a variety of relevant subjects and art-forms, giving them the opportunity work with established and credible local and high profile artists.

These events will create opportunities for audiences and participants to access culture in new and innovative ways. We believe that galleries, museums and theaters are not environments that everyone feels comfortable in and we do aspire to take all art forms into the public domain and package it in different ways. We see see ourselves as producers and facilitators, creating platforms for artists to showcase their skills and inspire audiences to absorb, support and create more art in their communities.
