🚢 The Galeón Andalucía Arrives in Warrenpoint Today! 🇪🇸⚓

A spectacular piece of maritime history is sailing into Warrenpoint Harbour today at 2:00 PM! The Galeón Andalucía, a stunning replica of a 17th-century Spanish galleon, will be docking in the harbour ahead of opening to visitors from 10:00 AM tomorrow (17th June).

Step aboard this magnificent vessel and experience life on one of the ships that once crossed the oceans during the Age of Discovery. Explore the decks, learn about its fascinating history, and enjoy a unique family day out right here in Warrenpoint.

The Cloughmore Stone sits high above Rostrevor on the slopes of Slieve Martin, looking out over Carlingford Lough and the Cooley Peninsula.

It’s a massive granite boulder, dropped there thousands of years ago during the last Ice Age, and it’s become one of those landmarks people keep coming back to.

The walk up from Kilbroney Park isn’t long, but it’s steep enough in parts to feel like you’ve earned the view when you get there.

There’s a bit of everything about the place — the science behind how it got there, the local story that Fionn mac Cumhaill threw it across the lough, and the simple fact that it’s just a great spot to stand and take it all in.
