'Listen to the land speak'... This Sunday, 7.30pm, Carcullion House, Hilltown.

Listen to the Land Speak sees Manchán Magan reveal the profound knowledge and wisdom contained in our landscape and myths.

The film unfolds from Winter Solstice to Bealtaine through Reek Sunday to Samhain, exploring how the stories and myths associated with the rivers, mountains and lands around us are crucial to unlocking aspects of how we need to rebuild our relationship with nature today.

But it also becomes an unexpectedly personal story as Manchán realises that there is a serious illness within himself that makes him see these ancient sites and beliefs in a whole new light.

This Sunday at 730pm in Carcullion House. Doors at 7pm. Cost £5.

Birthdays are always special occasions at Yellow Road Farm. Well yesterday, it was the turn for Conor to have his birthday party, with the usual complimentary game of pool to finish up the day.
Really hope you enjoyed your day Conor and thank you for all your help!
ps. Brian won the pool trophy, narrowly beating Martin in a tight game.
We'd like to thank 'McGreeveys Spar' staff for their generosity to our participants on their birthdays. You are always so good and it makes their birthdays even more special.

We're delighted that 'Yellow Road Farm' will feature tomorrow morning on 'Sunday Morning Live' at 10.30am. Sure why not tune in and see what we do, with Holly and the crew. It will also be available on BBC iPlayer later on in the day.
We haven't seen the footage yet ourselves, so fingers crossed we all enjoy.

With Halloween only a few days away, we still have some lovely cooking and eating apples at the top of the lane.

We have some freshly picked damsons and 'Katy' apples here at the farm. If you'd like to collect some of this fruit, please feel free to come along tomorrow. They are sitting in the porch of the Tea Room.
We do not use pesticides or insecticides on our fruit. Thanks to those who came along to pick the fruit today.

What a lovely afternoon's music and craic, as part of the Ulster Fleadh week of entertainment.... Thank you so much to everyone who made this possible, too many to mention individually, but you know who you are.
After the music, we managed a farm walk for the children to see our geese, goats, lambs and pigs and also to check out what we grow on the farm.
