Cornerstone Foodbank, Kilkeel Cornerstone Foodbank - Helping to fight food poverty in our local area. Operating from premises to the rear of Christ Church, Newry Street, Kilkeel.

The foodbank is an initiative managed and ran by a team of volunteers from the local community.

Thanks to Kilkeel High School for their support. It was a privilege to show the pupils how their local foodbank operates and provides for people in food poverty.
Thanks to everyone who continue to donate towards the ongoing work.

Thank you to Cornerstone Food Bank for having our A2 Nutrition and Food Science pupils to visit. Alan talked us through the work of the food bank and took us for a quick tour. It was very informative to see how food is sorted, stored and distributed to those in need. The A2 pupils have been learning about local and national food banks in their Food Poverty topic.
