🤞 WEEKEND WISH LIST 🤞

As another week comes to an end for our foodbank, we continue to be busy supporting those who need a helping hand in our local community.

The list below is what the foodbank is currently running low on, so please feel free to pick up an item or two, if you can, over the next day or so, and drop those into any of the churches involved with the Newry Food Initiative or pass on to any of the volunteers who you might know.

Donations can also be left into the foodbank on Hill Street on a Monday or Friday between 10am and 1pm.

We've had another busy week at our foodbank and are in need of the following items, if anyone is in a position to pick anything up over the weekend:

✅️ Soup
✅️ Tinned meat
✅️ Tinned Rice Pudding
✅️ Bottles of Diluting Juice
✅️ Biscuits

As always, donations can be dropped off at any participating churches on Sunday or directly to the foodbank on Hill Street on Monday, between 10am and 1pm.

Apologies that the Food Iniative was unable to open today fo safety reasons. Weather permitting we will open 10-12 tomorrow fro clients with a referral. Happy New Year all

Kingsmills Presbyterian Church reached out to us a few weeks ago to ask what we were in need of and we sent them our Christmas Wishlist, which gave the members of their Sunday School the opportunity to donate items which they knew would be put to good use by those in need of a little helping hand this December/January. 🤲

Thank you so much to everyone who brought items into the church and to Alison for organising to pass all of the kind donations over to one of our volunteers this evening. ❤️
