Nansledan Sirens W.I.

30/09/2026

Wow! Another fab night for some of our members. They had such a good time at Lord of the Dance, Hall for Cornwall, they forgot to take photos until it was over 😂 What an amazing friendship group Nansledan Sirens is becoming ❤️

Today, some of our Nansledan Sirens headed to the Royal Cornwall Showground to be part of something very special — an attempt to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™️ title for the largest cream tea party! 🏆

And what a cream tea it was! 😍

🫖 200 gallons of tea
🍓 324 jars of jam
🥛 370lbs of Rodda’s Clotted Cream
🍰 And 2,483 people coming together!

The event was held to celebrate Cornwall Hospice’s 45th anniversary and to try to bring the record home to Cornwall, beating the previous record of 1,088 people in Beijing.

And there was one very important rule — to count towards the record, we had to fully and completely consume our entire cream tea! 😋

Well… we certainly weren’t going to let Cornwall down! 😂🫖🍓

2,483 people. One huge cream tea. One record-breaking attempt. 🏆💚

What an amazing experience to be part of, and all while supporting such a fantastic Cornish charity. 💚
