At 4Motion, we believe community impact is stronger when we work together.

That’s why we’re proud to partner with , who supply the coffee we serve at - our creative community home in Newquay.

And there’s a lovely connection at the heart of this partnership: we’re both CICs, which means our organisations exist to create positive social impact and reinvest into our missions.

So there’s a beautiful ripple effect:

Every coffee bag we purchase from Dawn Patrol, and every coffee you purchase from us at the Break Room, helps generate income that is reinvested into our respective CIC social missions. ☕️🌱

So your coffee isn’t just a coffee.

It helps us create and fund opportunities for children, young people, families and communities across Newquay and beyond.

🌊 LOVE THE SKIN YOU’RE IN.

SKIN was born right here on the floor of the Break Room.

A group of local creatives came together with one question:

How do we turn a serious health message into something people will never forget?

Living in Cornwall, where skin cancer rates are among the highest in England, we knew facts alone weren’t enough. So we used movement, storytelling and creativity to create an experience that gets people talking and taking action.

Last week we were incredibly proud to see SKIN take to the stage at the CIOS Neighbourhood Health & Wellbeing Conference, where invited 4Motion to close the event, presenting to more than 180 NHS leaders, commissioners and VCSE partners.

It reminded us why places like the Break Room matter. Not just as somewhere to grab a coffee, browse surfboards or rehearse. Yet as a place where people connect, ideas grow, collaborations begin, and healthier communities are created.

The Break Room is slowly finding its flow, a space shaped by saltwater, stories, movement and community.

Home to , you’re invited to immerse yourself in surf and skate heritage, surrounded by over 30 vintage surfboards, classic skate decks, pre-loved wetsuits and second-hand boards with stories still to tell.

Whether you’re searching for your next board, browsing unique finds, rolling out your yoga mat, or simply soaking up the vibe with a coffee in hand, there’s a place for you here.
