Bodmin Pride is coming!

Join us on Saturday 27th June for a day of pride, protest, celebration and community in the heart of Bodmin.

We’ll be taking over Priory Lawn from 11:00am - 4:00pm, with the parade setting off from the west of Lower Bore Street.

Bring your flags, your friends, your chosen family and your loudest Pride energy. Bodmin, it’s time to show up and show out.

Did you know many humanitarians hide their identity just to keep working?

🌈 This Pride Month, we’re sharing our perspective on the challenges of delivering humanitarian aid around the world - especially in places where being LGBTQI+ can put people, including our own teams, at risk.

In many countries where we work, people simply being themselves is met with persecution and violence. This means our teams must carefully navigate these barriers to ensure everyone, regardless of identity, receives the shelter and support they need after disaster.

Safety, inclusion, and equal access are at the heart of everything we do. We work closely with local partners to protect both our teams and the communities we serve.

There’s still a long way to go, but by acknowledging these challenges, we can help break down barriers that shouldn’t exist.

June 2026 is Pride Month

Pride Month is a time to celebrate LGBTQ+ lives, honour the people who came before us, and recognise the communities still fighting for equality, safety and acceptance today.

Here in Cornwall, Pride matters. LGBTQ+ people live in every town, village and coastal community across our county and everyone deserves to feel seen, supported and proud of who they are. Pride in Cornwall is about creating space for joy, visibility and connection, while also standing together against discrimination and isolation.

Throughout June, we’ll be celebrating the strength, colour and diversity of our community, sharing important LGBTQ+ awareness dates, and recognising the stories, history and activism that continue to shape Pride today.

Pride is celebration. Pride is protest. Pride is remembrance. Pride is community.

Whether you’re LGBTQ+, questioning, an ally, a friend, a parent, a colleague or part of a chosen family, you are welcome, you are valued, and you belong.

Join us this June as we mark Pride Month 2026 across Cornwall.

A day to recognise, uplift and celebrate pansexual and panromantic people, those whose attraction isn’t limited by gender. Visibility matters, and everyone deserves to feel seen, valued and celebrated for exactly who they are.

Ryan and Trixie are legends! The amount of love and support you give by existing for beautiful humans is something we can not explain 💕💕💕

🐾 A firefighter had just spent the day facing down anti-LGBTQIA+ protestors. Then something small and fluffy changed his whole afternoon.

Ryan from Penzance and his Pomsky Trixie have been quietly making moments like this happen across Cornwall for two years. 💛
