Based in Penryn, Kernow Coatings’ support helps us celebrate, uplift and stand with our LGBTQ+ community across Cornwall.

We’re also incredibly grateful to them for printing our Your Safer Spaces stickers free of charge, helping us make Cornwall a more welcoming and inclusive place for everyone.

The Cornwall Pride Inclusion Conference 2026 is coming!

Join us for a day of inspiring conversation, practical learning and connection as we work towards a more inclusive Cornwall. Whether you’re an employer, educator, community organisation, ally or someone passionate about equality, everyone is welcome.

What to expect:

- Cornwall Pride updates
- A panel discussion or keynote speaker
- Interactive workshops
- Time to connect, share ideas and build new relationships
- Networking and an open mic session

The Council of Europe has adopted its first Strategy for Equal Rights for LGBTI People! 🏳️‍🌈

The Strategy (2027–32) sets out a common framework for upholding the dignity and equality of LGBTI people. Its four priorities for action:

🌈Recognising the equal rights and dignity of LGBTI people, promoting respect and inclusion
📢Countering disinformation and manipulation of information
❌️Preventing and combating violence and hatred against LGBTI people
⚖️Strengthening protection through effective legal, institutional and regulatory frameworks

At a time when equality is under pressure, the Strategy reaffirms the Council of Europe’s commitment to ensuring that human rights, democracy and the rule of law remain at the heart of our societies.

🏳️‍🌈PENZANCE PRIDE🏳️‍⚧️

A perfect way to end the summer season in Penzance! One of Cornwall's most famous and historic towns, sitting at the end of the Great Western Railway, immortalised by Gilbert & Sullivan, and serving as an exciting and ever-growing arts and cultural hub, Penzance always pulls out the stops to come together for an incredible celebration of Pride 💕

Starting from Market Jew Street, winding down through the narrow streets towards the seafront, our flag was unfurled to its full length along the promenade as Cornwall Pride volunteers proudly accepted the King's Award for Voluntary Service from Colonel Sir Edward Bolitho, Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall.

Our fabulous host Layla Zee Susan kicked off an afternoon of entertainment, beginning with Zalick, followed by Give Us A Chip, Cinderfella, Nathan Stubbings, and Scarlette Von B..

We hope you all had an incredible day and we cannot thank you enough for coming along to show your support ❤

Join us for the Cornwall Pride Inclusion Conference on Thursday 16 October, a day of connection, conversation and community.

From 10:30am-4pm, we’ll share Pride updates, hear from the Cornwall Pride team, explore ideas through a panel discussion or keynote, enjoy lunch together, take part in workshops, and finish with networking and an open mic.

Then, from 7pm, keep the conversations going at our relaxed UKPON Casual Networking evening at The Chintz. Come along, say hello and connect with others.
