Some lovely, latest news from Bloom!
Our Chair, Lesley Friel, along with Newquay’s deputy mayor, Sarah Thomson, were invited to open the new garden area at Sue Gray’s Wellbeing Garden in St Columb Minor. It’s called ‘Whispers of Memories’ and is designed specifically with those suffering dementia in mind.
Set in tranquil surroundings, it can be accessed from St Columb Minor church car park.

A big Thank you one and all involved in judging day. A true Newquay partnership effort. Starting in atmospheric mist and finishing in glorious sunshine Trenance_cottages to a lovely lunch.

We have been busy bees, 🐝 doing final touches, weeding, planting, and litter picking in the last couple of days towards the big day tomorrow! Well done and thank you, to all involved. Good luck one and all for tomorrow! 👏🤞🌞🧑‍🌾🏆

The countdown has begun! ⏰ It’s less than one week until Newquay will be judged in the small town category of the Britain in Bloom competition.

This culmination of a year’s work out and about in the town, from the Newquay in Bloom partnership will be under the spotlight of the visiting judges.

We’ll be busy bees 🐝 out and about along the route, weeding, litter picking and doing final touches, until judging day on Monday 6th July, any help would be greatly appreciated.

We’d like to take this moment to thank all of you for your ongoing support 👏 and hope we can make Newquay golden again! 🌻⭐️🏆 🤞🧑‍🌾
