We work to deliver high quality music and media sessions for people in their communities. CMC is a community interest company set up to make a real difference in the community in Cornwall through the creative media and non media sessions and workshops. Community Music in Cornwall is a co-operative, non-profit organization run directly by the music and film practitioners who deliver the sessions. F
ounded by two music leaders, Rob Moule and Laura Beth Roberts, the pair are good friends who have delivered music tuition and workshops together for more than ten years. With no managers, administrators or bureaucratic ties, CMC projects are both flexible and dynamic. We work in partnership with other organizations, schools and community centers to deliver sessions all over Cornwall, having grown over the last four years to now regularly employ a team of five music and media leaders. CMC are proud to design and deliver sessions to children, young people and adults throughout the county. Our sessions are tailored to ensure the best outcomes for those involved and continue to uphold a grassroots approach to promoting community arts and social wellbeing. We strive to deliver an inclusive service, empowering individuals to express themselves through all different means of communication while building self-esteem and confidence via the creative process.
