Bit choppy out there today. Newquay Blue Balls stuck to the relative shelter of the harbour and a soon warmed up with a pint at the Red Lion Newquay

Before this morning's dip Newquay Blue Balls took a moment to hand over over £600 we had raised for the Newquay RNLI Lifeboats during our summer fundraiser. Ironically it was during the fundraiser that we witness a family in serious danger and had to call out the life boatbto help rescue them.

Great to have a swim afterwards with family and friends. Next meeting 7pm Wednesday.

The last Sunday meet of September at Newquay Harbour. Summer is slowly ebbing away 😔

The good news is we carry on all year round anyway!

Wednesday evening 7pm and Sunday morning 9am meeting at the Harbour.

Newquay Blue Balls went back to our old Wednesday spot at porth this evening to help the marine conservation society conduct a beach clean, whilst we were there it would be rude not to go for a dip.

Next meet Sunday 9am Newquay Harbour and next Wednesday 7pm also Newquay Harbour

Last night Newquay Blue Balls had a summer gathering and fund raiser for RNLI at fistral beach with lots of great prizes donated by local businesses up for grabs.

Ironically the event was cut short as a serious incident began to materialise and Newquay RNLI Lifeboats and Newquay coastguard search & rescue team were summoned to assist.

We are glad that everyone made it home safe and big well done to all involved in the rescue including members of our group and the local surf committee. We will pick up the fund raiser soon enough and get that money into where it is needed.
