Last night Newquay Blue Balls had a summer gathering and fund raiser for RNLI at fistral beach with lots of great prizes donated by local businesses up for grabs.

Ironically the event was cut short as a serious incident began to materialise and Newquay RNLI Lifeboats and Newquay coastguard search & rescue team were summoned to assist.

We are glad that everyone made it home safe and big well done to all involved in the rescue including members of our group and the local surf committee. We will pick up the fund raiser soon enough and get that money into where it is needed.

Another delightful sunny Sunday morning at the Harbour for Newquay Blue Balls

Next dip will be Wednesday at fistral as part of our annual family beach day. It was going to be a BBQ but we all know the current guidance on that.
Meeting at north fistral from 5pm Wednesday for beach based shenanigans main dip at 7pm.

Next Sunday we will be meeting at the Harbour 9am.

Bring your own food, grills will be provided, bring pound coins as games will be played with a pound entry, money raised...

Bring your own food, grills will be provided, bring pound coins as games will be played with a pound entry, money raised going to the RNLI, prizes so far donated by RED, NorthShore, Red Lion, Saunasea, St Austell Brewery, Healeys, Tea & Leaves, Rowing Club Cafè, Red Bull, Ansum and a few more being finalised. So please bring your pennies, we'll pounds! setting up from mid afternoon, arrive and leave whenever however heading to do majority of activities around our dip time

As with every Sunday morning Newquay Blue Balls are dipping at 9am meeting first at tge Harbour carpark. As tge tide will be out we will dip on Towan beach.
Once we get out the water we head to The rowing club cafe for breakfast and coffees.
As its the last day of some of us will be heading to fistral afterwards to soak in the sun, surf, skate and cider 😎
