📣 The Rogerstone CC Events team are looking for volunteers that could help with an hour or two of their time at the Rogerstone Festival on Sunday 21st June 📣
⭐️ We are looking for people who could help with setting up in the morning, marshalling/ stewarding during the day. You do not need to be available all day, just a few hours would help a great deal and you may find a new group of friends along the way.
⭐️ Volunteering can be a great way to meet new people and get you out of the house for a few hours.

We are holding a volunteers meeting on Weds 10th June 7pm at the Ty-Du Hall, the Welfare.

⭐️ Only 2 weeks until the Rogerstone Festival on Sunday 21st June. We appreciate that it falls on Father’s Day this year but why not come along and celebrate with us ⭐️
There will be kids (Dad) crafts and at 2pm we will have Dad races, we know you all love to try and beat everyone else.
✨ We have something for the whole family, great entertainment from local groups. Cars, inflatables, tomahawk throwing, kids mini football, stalls and much more ✨
Make sure that you come along to the Welfare Ground on Sunday 21st June 11am - 4pm.

🌻 Yesterday we received some amazing pictures from Rylie-Mae and Millie on their Sunflowers. Wow how they have grown 🤩, unlike mine which had completely wilted in the heat while I was away last week for a few days!
🌻How are everyone’s else’s Sunflowers doing? Don’t forget to keep us updated, you can even pop along and tell us in person at the Rogerstone Festival too, we will be in the craft tent to hear your news.

🏃🏻‍♂️ Calling all Dad’s - why not come along and celebrate Father’s Day by taking part in our fun races, who doesn’t love a Dads race!

The Rogerstone CC Events team are pleased to announce that we have chosen St David’s Hospice Care as our charity to receive the proceeds of the raffle at this years Rogerstone Festival. I am sure that we all know someone who has been supported by this amazing charity.
We are only 4 weeks away from the big day and we are finalising the event.

The Rogerstone Repair Cafe will be open on Saturday 10am - 1pm, pop along and see what a difference we can all make together.

Small actions, big impact 🐝

⭐️ Wow, another great achievement across Wales. ⭐️
Why not come along to the Rogerstone Repair Cafe this Saturday between 10am and 1pm and help us continue to make a make a difference.

Across the Repair Cafe Wales network, 941 items were repaired in April, the equivalent of saving 108 wheelie bins worth of waste from being thrown away.

Every fixed lamp, jacket, toaster, chair or toy is one less item heading to landfill, and one more reminder that repair is powerful.

A huge thank you to our brilliant volunteers and communities across Wales who make this happen every month 💚

🧁Rogerstone Bakes - don’t forget to get your entries in for our baking competition 🧁

🏃🏻‍♂️Fathers Day - we appreciate that the festival falls on Father’s Day this year but why not come along and celebrate with us. There will be Children’s crafts where they can make Dad something special and then the Dad races, where the fun really starts 🏃
