Last months “Never Give Up” Parent Café was delivered by Mary, cohosted by Jade.

Mary shared her own experience of loss, pain and recovery with the group — and showed us what it looks like to turn pain into something that helps not just yourself, but everyone around you.

“Never Give Up” was the theme of a recent PAN Cymru Parent Café, and it couldn’t have felt more fitting 💙

Parents came together and felt properly listened to, heard, and held in a space where parent-to-parent conversation and shared wisdom make real change possible — in families, in friendships, in communities, and in how parents and professionals understand each other.

Mary led her first ever Café, cohosted by Jade, and together they absolutely nailed it. Mary told us afterwards that she’d learned something too — that she can share her truth, talk, shed a tear and laugh, all in the same hour. ✨

That’s exactly what this space is for.

Another PAN Cymru family fun day for the books 🎉

A massive thank you to Drock and the whole team at South Wales Adventure Company for having us — you made it so special. Parents, children and friends of all ages came together for a day packed with tree spirit sculpting, face painting, painting and printing, archery, pickleball, badminton, giant parachute chaos… and the highlight? Canoeing up the beautiful Neath Canal 🛶

The laughter was loud. The children were exhausted. The adults weren’t far behind 😄

None of it would have been possible without the incredible PAN Cymru parents and professionals who pour so much heart into making these days happen. Thank you, every single one of you.

Meet Danielle. 🤍

When she first came to PAN, everything felt like too much. Court processes, big emotions, an overwhelming season of life. She attended a couple of sessions — and then needed to step away.

Eighteen months ago, she came back. And everything changed.

Today Danielle hosts and leads Parent Cafés, is stepping into new career opportunities, and in her own words feels “the most me I have ever been.”

“They just get it. You don’t have to over-explain yourself. That understanding has helped me feel less alone and more confident in myself.”

That’s what happens when people are truly listened to. When they find a community that just gets it.

That’s what we’re here for. 💙

A major milestone for PAN Cymru 💙

Meet our first-ever employed parent workforce — four parents with lived experience joining us to expand the Parent Café approach across Wales. Real change happens when we get in the same boat and paddle together. 🚣‍♀️

Our final Parent Café before the summer holidays was held in Swansea on 14th July — co-hosted by parent and professional duo Danielle Morgans and Bel Lee . 🤝

Theme: “Owning Your Own Strength.”

Parents and professionals showed up as people first — sharing honest stories about family life, its challenges, and what gets us through. The result? A room full of people realising just how much strength, resilience and courage they’d been carrying all along.

This is PAN Cymru at its best: collaboration, shared learning, mutual respect.
