Rogerstone Supports Newport Helping Rogerstone residents find trusted local news, events, recommendations and practical support. Part of Feed Newport | Newport Support Network CIC.

Men Tell is a Newport-based mental health project supporting men to talk, connect, and feel less alone. We share real stories, provide safe spaces, and connect people to support — especially around World Mental Health Day. If you’re struggling, you don’t have to do it in silence.

🧥❤️ WRAP UP NEWPORT 2026 IS BACK! ❤️🧥
Together, let’s keep Newport warm this winter. ❄️

Wrap Up Newport 2026 returns this November, organised by Feed Newport in partnership with HandsOn London.

Newport City Council are proudly funding our Baby Basics Newport Community Reuse Hub, supporting families with essential baby and children’s items.

📅 1–30 November 2026
We’re calling on our amazing Newport community, local businesses, schools and organisations to donate warm winter coats to help people and families facing hardship.

💙 One coat can make a difference. One act of kindness can change someone’s winter.

🎉 OFFICIAL COMMUNITY LAUNCH – 3 NOVEMBER!
We’re delighted to welcome the Mayor of Newport, Councillor Deb Harvey, and her Consort, Councillor Tim Harvey, to celebrate the launch with us.

📍 Feed Newport, 92 Commercial Street, Newport

🙌 Whether you can donate a coat, volunteer, or help spread the word, your support means everything.

❤️ Let’s show what Newport is made of — kindness, generosity and community spirit.
🧥 Share this post and help us spread the warmth! 🧥

One Love. One Community. ❤️

👕 Boys' clothing

The clothes he grew out of aren't useless. They're just the wrong size for him now.
Children grow quickly. Their clothes don't always wear out nearly as quickly.

We're looking for good-quality preloved boys' clothing, including:
👕 Tops
👖 Trousers
🧥 Coats
👟 Shoes

Newborn, baby, toddler and children's sizes are welcome.

Before putting that bag back in the cupboard, ask one question:
Could another child wear it?

If the answer is yes, we'd love to hear from you.

💙 Donate preloved boys' clothing to Baby Basics Newport Reuse Centre.

Food matters.

But so can sitting down somewhere welcoming, having a hot drink, talking to somebody and feeling part of your community.

Feed Newport Community Kitchen is about more than what’s on the plate.

Fridays, 11am–1pm
92 Commercial Street

🎉❤️ A BIG NIGHT FOR BROOKLYN! 🏆👏

What a lovely evening celebrating one of our very own! 💚

Our amazing young volunteer Brooklyn has been nominated for an award at the Newport Volunteering Awards, and we couldn't be prouder! 🌟

Joining Brooklyn this evening are fellow volunteer Lennox and our Director Eliska, sharing in this special occasion.

At Feed Newport, we love seeing our young people grow in confidence, develop their talents and receive the recognition they deserve.

Whatever happens tonight, Brooklyn, you're already a winner in our eyes! ❤️👏

A big thank you to GAVO for recognising the incredible contribution volunteers make across our communities.

One love. One community. 💚

💚 A BIG THANK YOU TO ARCHWAY COURT NURSERY! 💚

Community in action! ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Archway Court Children's Day Care Nursery & Kids Club, Newport, for their wonderful donation of baby and children's essentials to our Baby Basics Newport Community Reuse Hub.

A special shout-out to Lo and the fantastic collection and delivery team for their time, hard work and kindness in helping make this possible. 👏

These generous donations will be given a new home, helping local babies, children and families while reducing waste and encouraging reuse. ♻️

It's partnerships like these that show what can happen when our Newport community comes together.

From everyone at Feed Newport and Newport Support Network CIC, thank you for making a difference. 💚

They keep growing. The budget doesn’t.

Children don’t stop needing clothes, nappies and everyday essentials because household finances are stretched.

Through Feed Newport’s Baby & Family Essentials support and our Community Reuse Hub, good-quality items can be reused locally and reach families who need them.

Every item reused is one less thing a family may need to buy — and one more item kept in use.
