Thank you all for braving the rainy conditions and visiting us at the Miniature Railway at the Glebelands. The rain stopped and we had a couple of hours rain free allowing us all to enjoy the rides.
Thank you to the N Gauge Society - Newport, South Wales Group for displaying in our clubhouse.
As always thanks go to St John Ambulance Cymru Newport who support all our events.
See you all again on 4th July 😀 🚂

We are open, come on down for a ride on our steam or our electric train

We will be open to the public on Saturday 6th June at 12.30pm, rides begin at 1pm.
To keep you all safe we would need to tell you about our safety guidelines:
Please keep children and pets supervised at all times.
Only cross the track at designated crossings.
While travelling on the miniature trains please do not lean from side to side, stand up, or wave your arms about and keep your feet on the running boards at all times.
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear as the ground is uneven in places and there may be smuts from the steam engines.
We are a working site and there will be some areas you are unable to go for safety reasons.
Please stay safe and enjoy your visit!

We will be open to the public on Saturday 6th June at 12.30pm, with rides beginning at 1pm (or sooner if we are ready ☺️)
N Gauge Society - Newport, South Wales Group will be displaying in the Clubhouse, make sure to go in and have a look.
Charollais Catering Company will be on site and ready to serve hot/cold snacks and delicious ice cream from 12.30pm.
Each ride is £2 per person.

Our next Public Running Day will be on Saturday 6th June - make sure to put it in your busy diary now.
We will be running steam and electric engines, come and have some family fun and ride on our trains!
Our rides are £2 per person and all the money received is re-invested in our site. When the engine shed and signalling projects are complete we will be starting Phase 2 of the track project which will be to extend the track to cover more of our site.
Charollais Catering Company will be on site with hot/cold snacks and ice cream.
St John Ambulance Cymru Newport, as always, will be on site to support our day.
Gates open at 12.30pm with rides beginning at 1pm.

All welcome to the next Wednesday evening 'BIKERS' NITE' bike meet, from 5.30pm.

Hundreds of motorbikes to view ahead of the auction on the following Saturday, including Ozzy Osbourne's Quad!

Please remember to bring a donation for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and for the raffle.

What a lovely busy day we had at the Miniature Railway at the Glebelands yesterday. Thank you to all the emergency services who were able to to attend: Blood Bikes Wales, St John Ambulance Cymru Newport, Police and Crime Commissioner for South Wales, South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, also attending were three American Police Cars. Thanks too to Jeremy at Charollais Catering Company who kept us fed and watered.
Thank you to all who attended and made it such a success 🙏🏼
Our next Public Running Day will be Saturday 6th June when we hope to welcome you all again to ride on our steam and electric trains.

Our steam and electric miniature trains will be ready in about 15 minutes to take you for a ride around our beautiful site. Some of the local emergencies services are here to talk to you and explain the part they play in rescue missions etc Come along and see what we have to offer.
