Can you spare an evening once or twice a month, we are in need of adult support to run our weekly evenings. No experience needed, and can be just helping on a regular evening. The more people who can help, the easier it is.

Newport Explorers continues to grow, but we need more leaders to continue to support Young People. If you are able and willing, please re-share this post.

If you are over 18, enjoy do new things, and want to help Young People develop skills for life we are looking for your help. We have multiple roles across the district, from volunteering directly with the Explorers or helping behind the scenes everybody is welcome.

AWESOME DofE Residential Opportunity

The AWESOME Event team are pleased to offer Gold Dofe / King Scout participants the opportunity to attend a 5 day residential with the event team.

You will get experience in setting up a large event, running adventurous activities and supporting over 500 Explorers in an amazing location. As a team you will work together to deliver elements of he event, with the opportunity to socialise across the event.

The cost to attend is £90 to cover food and expenses, we can only accept applications from scout members who are over 18 at the time of the event. Applications will be balloted and if over subscribed may be limited by area.
