The Rotary Water Barrel Project

The Rotary Water Barrel Project Providing Rotary Water Barrels to access to clean water in the developing world, which saves lives. www.rotb.co.uk http://www.rolloutthebarrel.org/

We work with agencies and groups to provide Rotary Water barrels to communities who currently collect their water from wells, streams and pumps, sometimes kilometres away. The use of the roller barrel will relieve children from the hardship of carrying water and the time saved will offer them opportunities to attend school. We will work in conjunction with Lifetstraw and Aquafilter to ensure clean drinkable water is the end result.

Yesterday we carried out the distribution and education of reusable sanitary pads (Afripads) and underwear to 90 girls in Lavia Junior school Katooke B Nabweru, Kampala Uganda. A big thank you to all who donated. Without your donations these projects would not be possible. We would also like to thank Icolu Babura Babura, our representative who carries out these projects for us.
