Our high school aged young carers have been really enjoying their sessions with Bake-Well Therapy. They get to discuss vital topics such as low mood, anxiety, perfectionism etc whilst enjoying being creative and baking sweet treats! We're really looking forward to working with Julie-Anne for the rest of the term

A Level results day ❤️

For some young people today will be full of celebrations. For others, it might be really tough.

A set of grades isn’t the whole story.

Sometimes getting to the exam was the achievement as getting there meant battling anxiety, overwhelm or school avoidance. Navigating ADHD, autism or dyslexia. Being a young carer. Living in foster care. Dealing with trauma or things going on at home that nobody at school even knew about.

So whatever that screen or piece of paper says today, look at the person behind it.

Grades matter but they don’t measure kindness, creativity, humour, courage or potential.

If Plan A doesn’t happen today, that’s okay.

There is always another route. ❤️

We had a great day out at the beach yesterday with Caerphilly Adventures Anturiaethau Caerffili body boarding / surfing and having fun on the sand 🏖🌊🏄‍♀️

We found some unusual ways to avoid being sunburnt too 😆
