As I'm back out and about again doing drop ins thought I'd just do a reminder about what we can help with at a drop in.

They are pretty informal and open to anyone who just wants a bit more information about using cloth nappies. You don't have to be using the nappy library to come along.

Kids and babies are of course very welcome. We've also had a few dogs along as well!

First drop in for October for me!

I'm at Llandaff North and Gabalfa Hub until midday today (Monday 12th) if you fancy popping in and talking nappies on this rainy morning.

Come talk nappies in October!

Here's where I'll be over the next month so whether you want to borrow a whole nappy kit or want a bit more information about cloth nappies I'd love to see you.

Everyone is welcome and I always have demo nappies and some freebies available.

Any questions drop us a message.

I'm back!

Thanks to the lovely Bethan for holding the fort while I was away.

I'm excited to get back out and about meeting the families of South East Wales so if you run a baby group and think your attendees would benefit from me popping in to explain a bit about cloth nappies send me a message to arrange.

I'll be doing some drop ins in October which I'll publish the dates of soon but if you're keen to borrow a kit get in touch and I can arrange to meet.

In case you're new around here - I'm Laura, I run the nappy library but turned 40, took my kids out of school and took them backpacking for 6 months in South East Asia over this summer. We had a huge adventure but I'm happy to be home in sunny Wales.

This is fab news

Food waste recycling has risen by 13 per cent and purple lidded bin rubbish has reduced by four per cent since an education and enforcement campaign was introduced last year.

Since September 2025, more than 700 households have been helped to increase their recycling, with warning notices and fixed penalty notices issued to those who have not taken action.

The Keeping Up with the Joneses campaign aims to reduce the number of households who overfill their purple-lidded bins or leave out additional rubbish bags - and those who don't routinely recycle certain items like food or cardboard.
