Circus of Positivity We aim to promote wellbeing through ground based circus skills workshops for all ages and abilities.

Circus of Positivity CIC is a not-for-profit group based in Newport, South Wales. We aim to promote physical and mental wellbeing in our local community through the provision of juggling and ground-based circus activities. Many of our Directors and volunteers have personal experience of the huge impact circus can have on wellbeing. We have a strong focus on wellbeing and creative expression and pr

ovide opportunities for workshop and event attendees to learn circus skills in a relaxed social setting, where every achievement, big or small, is celebrated, and mistakes and setbacks are regarded as nothing but opportunities to learn and support one another.

Please share the June schedule for our Social Circus sessions! We're offering some special skill sessions this month, as well as all of our usual ground-based skills like juggling, poi, flower stick and diablo 🎪PortHour

Social Circus is a free weekly session at The Place Newport on Wednesday evenings - just drop in anytime between 6pm & 8pm for a chat and a laugh and maybe try something new 🤹‍♀️
Open to complete beginners with all equipment provided. Sessions are aimed at adults, if you would like to bring a child along with you then send us a message so we can tell you a bit more about it.

We had an amazing day at yesterday's World Circus Day celebration event!🎪 Thank you so much to everyone who came and got involved, to Boomerang - PIF HUB for hosting us and to the amazing Ampersand Circus and their student performers 🤩
Responses to our feedback form rated the event 4.75/5 stars ⭐️ and attendees enjoyed tightwire walking, watching the aerial display and trying a variety of circus skills 🤹

FREE CIRCUS WORKSHOPS TOMORROW! We're so excited to celebrate World Circus Day with Ampersand Circus and Boomerang tomorrow, we hope you are going to join us 🎪🤹
Please note, the below times are approximate - you can drop-in anytime during the event and the circus activities are all free. There will also be a tuck shop and tombola 🌭🍭 charges will apply, with proceeds supporting the work of the wonderful charity, Boomerang 😍 Both cash and card accepted ✅
