Urban Circle will be showing a segment from their feature-length documentary HUMANiTREE at Newport EcoFest on Saturday.
The segment will explore how history, power and race have shaped the world we live in today.
Through interviews, science, history and lived experience, the film looks at colonisation, slavery, migration, climate, capitalism and the systems that have divided people across generations.
Created over two years by 11 young people aged 16-24 alongside a professional film crew, HUMANiTREE brings together global stories and big questions about who we are, where we come from and how we move forward together.
Newport Ecofest is an annual event hosted by Newport City Council and sponsored in kind by Inspire Green and support sponsors Robert Price and Tomoe Valve.
