We started in October 2021 with an empty shop, over the years there have been so many memories and moments created.
When you see it all in a timeline it makes you reflect on all the phases of the project and the people who have made it what it is 💚

That'll be 3470 items saved from landfill now! Plus over 8000 items borrowed from our library of things!
If you're looking to get a job done and need a "thing" then give us a ring 💚

Five years of repairs, reuse and community impact in Newport

Celebrating 5 years of RE:MAKE Newport Joy today.
A huge thank you as always to our volunteers who selflessly give their time to repair people's items and make this world a better place - you are all superstars 👏🌟💚

RE:MAKE Newport are celebrating our 5 year anniversary tomorrow!

This is an incredible milestone for us and we are so proud to shout about the outcomes our community achieved, by borrowing things instead of buying them and repairing items instead of replacing them!
We love creating this infographic each year as the numbers are always staggering!

Over the 5 years you have:
- Borrowed 8325 times
- Brought in 3456 items for repair
- Collectively saved £305,454 by borrowing and repairing
- Our volunteers have given 12431 hours of their time to help achieve these amazing things!

Diolch yn fawr to everyone who has contributed along the way! 💚 We hope to see you for tea cake and remaking tomorrow 😍

Come and celebrate 5 whole years of repair and borrowing at RE:MAKE Newport this Saturday.
Whether you're an existing customer or have been meaning to come and pay us a visit, we would love to see you.
This Saturday is not only our 5 year anniversary, but also International repair day AND it's Eco Fest at the riverfront which happens to be round the corner from Skinner Street.
Make it an eco day and come to both events! 💚
