Hey guys Sam here,
On behalf of Dio, David Abdullah , I write this with great sadness over the sad and unimaginable loss of our lovely Founder, Emma. She passed away peacefully on the 02/01/2025, surrounded by her family and loved ones at her local hospital. Emma was a proud mum to Pheobe and loving wife to Dio and we all, as a family are going to miss her immensely. Her funeral is taking place on 20th February 2025 at 1pm at St David’s church in Yeo close then 2pm at the Gwent Crematorium in Cwmbran. Everyone has been asked to wear a splash of purple on the day for Emma. Family and friends are welcome to join us at the Bettws Social club for refreshments after the services.
Emma was a strong and courageous lady who since her own transplant 14 years ago, has helped so many by founding our charity Multi Organ Transplant Support: M.O.T.S. Emma understood first-hand how much support was needed for those going through their transplant journey and wanted to be able to help others.
She was so passionate about MOTS and what we do here, and put her heart and soul into every idea or every event we organised, and she had big dreams for us, which we will continue to do in memory of her.
Emma lived each day with conviction, character and passion and showed generosity, love and compassion to everyone she met. I know her beautiful spirit will live on through her daughter, Pheobe and her husband, Dio, and her mum, Jen who were her whole world
I hope that you can all find comfort in the memories that you have of Emma and that her kindness and love remain in your hearts. She has created a wonderful charity and her legacy will live on through MOTS.
Lots of love and hugs.
