Our First Social Satsang!

Yesterday, we were so excited to host our first Social Satsang at Dharma Mandir Newport! ☕🧡

It was a wonderful occasion bringing everyone together by sharing some snacks, enjoying good conversations and building new connections.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and made our first gathering so special. Especially to Ruchi for organising the whole event, and making everyone feel welcomed. ❤️

This is just the beginning, and we’re looking forward to many more Social Satsangs together!

Just a reminder for this weekend’s Krishna Janmashtami celebrations on Sunday, 30th August at 11:00am. We will be conducting Krishna Puja and joining together for Bhajan Sandhya.🦚

Please prepare any Krishna Bhajans you would like to sing on the day. We also encourage all the children to dress up as Krishna or the Gopis.

On Saturday, 29th August at 5:00pm, we welcome you all to take part in the Ramayan Satsang held at the Mandir.

On Saturday 25th July, Dharma Mandir Newport proudly hosted its first ‘Health Is Wealth’ Seminar, focusing on the important topic of Mental Wellness.
Led by psychiatrist Dr Hemma Sungum, the seminar explored practical techniques and approaches to supporting our mental wellbeing, with simple practices that participants can also incorporate into their everyday lives. 🧠

This event was supported by Sri Goberdhan, who shared valuable insights from the neuroscience industry, and Dr Yogesh Nathdwarawala, who brought plenty of positivity through an engaging laughter yoga session.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr Hemma Sungum for leading this wonderful initiative, and to everyone who joined and contributed to making the event a success.
We look forward to bringing you many more ‘Health Is Wealth’ talks and creating opportunities to support the wellbeing of our community. 🩵
