Irvine Valley Men’s Shed
The Irvine Valley Men’s Shed was started in 2017 by a group of locals supported by CVOEA to provide a space for men to share and learn new skills along with providing an opportunity for friendship and community connectedness. The men’s shed movement originated in Australia a number of years ago and since has gone strength to strength world wide, with significant research suggesting many positive effects including reducing social isolation and improved physical and mental health.
Each Men’s Shed is different, ranging from those focussing on woodwork through to car mechanics. It really can be anything the group wants it to be !!
