Newmachar 10K Run

Newmachar 10K Run Newmachar 10km run has been running for four years now, getting the community out and running, whilst raising funds for local community groups and charities.

We have raised over £4500 in our first 3 years which has been fed back to local groups.

Final results for the Newmachar 10k. 95 participants turned up to take on the course this year. Starting with the ladies category, we had a new course record of 39:52 taking 1 minute 30 seconds off the previous record. 1st Place Moira Davie of Forres Harriers, 2nd Place Alison Donaldson 3rd Place Fiona MacArthur.

In the male category, we also had a new course record of 33:25 taking 1 minutes 16 seconds off the previous record. 1st Place Jordan Cruickshank Metro, 2nd Place Daniel Irvine 3rd Place Matthew Milne.

Newburgh Dune Running Club was also presented with the best represented running club at this years event with 28 runners on the day.

Newmachar Running Clib also provided trophies this year to the first female and first male finisher from their running group. The first female finisher was Nic Wild and first male finisher was Nik Robinson.

Thanks to everyone who came along and well done to both our new course record holders Moira and Jordan.

Good Morning All just under two weeks to go and our entries are sitting at 102 entries. As we have had to order our medals to be here for the race the entries will close once we get to 110.

If anyone who has entered and can no longer attend please let us know as we can transfer places to other participants, this needs to be done by the original participant and the new entry, we cannot do the transfer for you. Please get in touch and we can let you know how to do this if this is the case.
