To say we're devastated would be an understatement.

Thanks again to everyone who signed and shared the petition and supported the campaign. We really do appreciate it but sadly it was not quite enough to sway the vote to reject

Well today is the day of reckoning.

Over 530 signatures on the petition - thank you so much for your support. Kim will be presenting the petition at the Planning Committee meeting this evening and we have 3 strong objections registered to speak plus the support of our MP James MacCleary .

We can only cross everything and hope that the Committee reject the application

We're very close to 500 signatures. If you haven't signed yet please do - the petition is being presented at the Planning Meeting on Wednesday and it would be great to say that over 500 people have signed it.

This is the report going before the Committee on the 4th December, makes interesting reading !

There are way too many doubts about this development - 400 homes no affordable housing, no well thought out ecological mitigation - the developers ecologist told me that they'd put the mitigation in and the wildlife would just tramp along to the new areas and be ok.

The planning application is being considered by the Planning Committee on 4th December and unfortunately has been recommended for approval. If you haven't signed the petition please do so as soon as possible. Click the link below

As we saw with the tower application we can make a difference by making a good set of objections at the planning meeting. The petition will be handed to LDC at the meeting. This is not a done deal just because officers recommend approval. Please share the petition among friends and family

We have been informed today by James Smith the case officer for The Harbour Heights development LW/23/0380, that the application has been deferred until November and will not be heard on the 9th October.
We will keep you posted as to if and when it will be heard in November.
