HAPPY BIRTHDAY

8 years ago today the Community Cafe opened its doors.

Many thanks to everyone who has supported us over this time and helped us continue what we have been able to do within the community. We have been fortunate enough to get to know some very lovely people.

We appreciate every person who has been in and visited us, be it for Knit & Natter, walking group, community lunch, people who come in for a cuppa, a chat or game of pool, some advice on anything from buses to tech, or recommendations on groups in town or whatever other reasons.

Please continue to support us and help us support you all. We look forward to seeing you.

SEE YOU NEXT YEAR

So, today saw the last Community Cafe session of 2025, with our lovely Knit & Natter ladies once again enjoying a chat and a cuppa with a nice relaxing knit, today to the sounds of Christmas music.

We have now broken up for the festive period and would like to thank every one of you for your support over this year.

Whatever the reason you come to see us, be it Knit & Natter, Walking group, Pizza making, Community Lunch, Youth Groups, just to sit and wait for a bus, duck out of the rain or for a chat/joke/singalong and a cuppa, or just to randomly pop in, we appreciate every single bit of support you provide to us, and we hope that we have been a place where you have felt valued and comfortable.

We look forward to seeing you all in the New Year when we return on 5th January and wish you all a very Merry Christmas. Thank you all for your continued support.

CHRISTMAS RAFFLE

Once again, our wonderful friends at HCR Law in Ross-on-Wye are continuing fundraising efforts for Chillout, this time with a rather tasty raffle.

For £5 a ticket, you have the chance to win a lovely Christmas Hamper, and, of course help raise funds at the same time, that allow us to continue our activities at Chillout.

For all entries, you will need to go to the attached JustGiving link and follow the instructions on that page, and will need to be able to collect your prize from Ross-on-Wye on Thursday 18th December 2025.

Once again, all of us at Chillout appreciate the support of everyone and are extremely grateful to the lovely people at HCR Law in Ross for everything they have been arranging/doing for us as their chosen charity this year.

WHO WANTS A PIZZA THE ACTION?

On Monday 10th November, Chillout will be hosting another free Pizza Making Workshop (in association with Two Rivers Housing) from 3:30-5.

All are welcome to come along and join the fun, but children must be accompanied by an adult.

Ideal as it’s just after school and stops the worry about what to make for the little ones to eat that evening. Also, as it’s in the Community Cafe, parents can enjoy a nice cuppa during the activity.

This is open to all, you do not have to be a Two Rivers tenant to get involved.
