East Park RDA is a registered charity based in Surrey providing riding sessions for disabled children and young people. Registered Charity No: 1074259

to the disabled. We own 4 ponies ourselves, with others provided by Little Brook. Disabled individuals can also ride with us in small groups or on their own. We are entirely self-funded, and although the schools pay a fee, this does not cover the cost of the sessions, so we rely on fund-raising events, donations and grants to cover the annual shortfall. We are honoured to have Dame Judi Dench as our Group Patron.

Some of our wonderful Monday morning volunteers - who received long service certificates - Sue, Anne, Jenny and Bryan all clocking up 22 years each, and Val, Amy, and Alison have each volunteered for 15 years !

We had a lovely time today at the Dormansland Horse and Dog Show with only one heavy shower to spoil the sunny weather. Everyone seemed to be having a great time at the new venue. We are very grateful to the Show for supporting us as one of their chosen charities this year.

Our Story

East Park RDA is based at Little Brook Equestrian in Newchapel, and is a registered charity under the umbrella of Riding for the Disabled Association. We provide riding sessions for children with learning or physical disabilities from local schools. We also provide carriage driving lessons for disabled children and adults. We run 8 riding sessions per week during term time, with 6 children per session, giving 48 children a week a chance to enjoy the benefits that riding brings to the disabled. We own 6 ponies ourselves, with others provided by Little Brook. Disabled individuals can also ride with us in small groups or on their own. We are entirely self-funded, and although the schools pay a fee, this does not cover the cost of the sessions, so we rely on fund-raising events, donations and grants to cover the annual shortfall.
