Newcastle Round Table We're a bunch of guys aged 18-45yo who get out of the house every few weeks to do cool stuff.

The Round Table is a registered charity consisting of young guys from all walks of life (There is a female equivalent called The Ladies Circle which we are closely coupled with and hold events with). We run this in our spare time which doesn't take too much commitment. We get together to socialise, network, and put on events around Newcastle. Our most notable event is the Gosforth Fireworks Extrav

aganza which allows us to fund many charitable causes over the year in the surrounding areas. Most recently we held a funding round which saw us donate over £12,000 to help vulnerable people being effected by COVID-19 in the area. We are just a group of guys and gals who want to have a good time, network, and give back to the community! We hope to meet you soon! :)

Safe to say the competitiveness came out very quickly at our last social at … 👀

The lads took on 9 classic fairground games with a twist — from Hook-a-Duck and duck target shooting, to flinging ping pong balls into milk churns and battling it out down tin can alley. There may not have been any prizes, but bragging rights were definitely on the line 🏆😂

A cracking night full of laughs, friendly competition, and plenty of questionable aiming skills.

Mental Health Awareness Week runs from 11th–17th May, and this year we want to highlight something incredibly important - men’s mental health.

Too often, men feel pressure to “just get on with it”, stay quiet, or deal with things alone. But real strength comes from talking, connecting, and supporting each other.

Being part of Round Table is about far more than socials and events. It’s about friendship, community, and having a group of people around you who genuinely check in, listen, and support one another. Whether it’s sharing a laugh after a tough week, getting involved in something positive, or simply having mates you can talk to, those connections matter.

Round Table gives men the chance to build friendships, improve confidence, reduce isolation, and be part of something bigger than themselves — all of which can have a hugely positive impact on mental wellbeing.

If you have been a bit quiet recently, come and join us at Round Table. If someone else you know has been quiet, reach out to them and talk.

Tonight, Newcastle Round Table met at the pub for our latest business meeting 🍻

It was a great chance to catch up, discuss, and plan some exciting upcoming events and socials—we’ve got plenty in the pipeline!

We’re also thrilled to officially welcome our newest member, Dan 🙌
Dan has been a familiar face at our Fireworks Event over the past few years through his leadership with the Scouts, and we’re delighted to now have him join the club properly.

The lads got suited and booted on Friday night to support our very own Jaromir Prager as he stepped into the cage for his charity MMA fight, following an intense 3-month training camp. 💪

After an action-packed night of 19 fights, Jaromir headlined the event. It was a tough matchup, and while it wasn’t his night for the win, he gave it absolutely everything in the ring and that’s what counts! 👊

Everyone at Newcastle Round Table is incredibly proud of him for having the courage to step up and for raising money for a great cause. We had a brilliant night enjoying the fights, a few beers, and of course, a proper night out in the Toon afterwards! 🍻
