Enjoy a coffee while meeting cats looking to find a home!
Alley Cat Cafe is the second Cat Homing Centre set up by Westgate Ark in Newcastle Upon Tyne, the first still operating from our Prospect Place site.
We rescue, care for and find loving new homes for cats that are in distress. Many were long term strays, with others coming in after owners have given them up following for various reasons, or where previous owners have become incapacitated or have died.
Situated next door to our Support Shop in Fenham, we invite visitors along to meet our cats over a coffee or drink. We encourage interaction with the cats and are happy to answer questions about their homing needs, characters and backgrounds.
We are looking for visitors, volunteers, sponsors, local community partners, and most importantly good homes. Fosterers are also often needed along with drivers or those offering skills.
