Last week, we visited Northumberland Wildlife Trust with our Northern Futures cohort!

The group got hands-on and explored the outdoors by building makeshift tents, learning how to tie knots and taking a walk through nature. 🏕️🌳

It was a great opportunity to get outside, try something new and learn more about the different careers and opportunities connected to nature and the environment.

Growing opportunities in our community🌼👏

We had a great day on Saturday 18th July supporting Cramlington Town Council at their community conservation event at Manor Walks.

It was lovely to meet local families, hand out flower plants and chat about Groundwork North East & Cumbria’s Northern Futures project, supporting young people to build confidence, develop employability skills and take their next steps into employment, education or training.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by and took a plant home! 🌱
