Together with our partners — Evolve Case Management, Education and Case Management Services Limited (ECMS) and Carla Turner Case Management — has developed a new Advocacy Referral Decision Tool, and we’d really value feedback from professionals working in this space.

The tool is designed to support case managers and MDTs to identify when independent advocacy will add value — particularly in situations involving:
• complex decision‑making
• fluctuating mental capacity
• communication or cognitive impairment
• risk, safeguarding or conflict
• the need for continuity alongside statutory advocacy

It offers a clear, practical guide to support early, proactive referrals and strengthen person‑centred practice across rehabilitation and legal journeys.

If you have a few minutes to take a look, we’d welcome your thoughts on usability, clarity, or how it could be improved.

If you’re able to share feedback, we’d be grateful to receive it by Friday 8 May.

Our 2026 training programme — developed to support professionals working with people at the centre of practice.

We are Independent Advocates, supporting people in vulnerable situations to be heard and have their rights upheld.

For almost 30 years, our award winning advocacy service has worked alongside individuals facing complex challenges — and now we share that specialist knowledge through our training.

In 2026, we’re offering practical, person centred training for anyone in a supportive role.

Alongside the existing Hate ID app, we’ve also created a printable PDF version for anyone who prefers to work offline.

Developed to support frontline practitioners, the Hate ID tools — available as both a PDF and an app — help professionals to:

✅ Identify indicators of hate incidents and hate crime
✅ Build confidence in assessment and decision‑making
✅ Ensure victims can access the right support, at the right time
