🕷️ That’s a wrap on our Spider-Man: Brand New Day appearances! 🕸️

What an incredible weekend we’ve had celebrating the new movie release and global Spider-Man day!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to meet the heroes, stopped for photos, shared a smile, and made the weekend so special. Seeing so many Spider-Man fans, families, and Marvel lovers having fun is exactly why we do what we do.

We’d also like to say a massive thank you to Cineworld Dalton Park and Cineworld Boldon Tyne & Wear for having us. It’s always a pleasure working with such fantastic venues and helping create unforgettable memories for everyone who attends.

While this marks the end of our Spider-Man: Brand New Day appearances, don’t worry… Reel Heroes has plenty more exciting events still to come, and we can’t wait to share them with you!

Are you wanting to try something new?

If you enjoy cosplay, meeting like-minded people, and having fun promoting upcoming films at local cinemas - while also helping raise money for the cinemas’ nominated charity and putting use to cosplays when not at cons… this might be for you.

Reel Heroes is looking to welcome new members to our cosplay team across the North East!

We attend cinema events in costume, create a great atmosphere for families and fans, and support good causes along the way.
There’s no pressure or obligation - everything we do is completely voluntary, and you attend events when you’re able.

Some of the films we’re planning to attend for the rest of 2026 include:

* Spider-Man: Brand New Day
* Clayface
* Avengers: Endgame
* Avengers: Doomsday

And possibly a few others. As you can see, we try and cover as many fandoms as we can!

Whether you’re an experienced cosplayer or just looking to try something new, we’d love to hear from you.

Today some of the team attended a children’s fundraiser organised by The Salvation Army UK in Gateshead.

A lot of fun was had and some great memories were made, from making smoothies on a bicycle to meeting summer Santa!
