Day 1 on camp!

Our beavers, cubs and Scouts have made it through the night - and despite a slightly early get up - are excited for a day of activities.

We've had some breakfast, the cubs have passed their room checks, and our Scouts' leader Tom is leading our Scouts own on Stress and Anxiety.

Looking forward to an exciting day ahead!

**How do you celebrate the end of the week?**

For our Scouts it means teamwork, problem solving and good fun. Last night was no exception - bridge building, command tasks, getting creative with paracord and preparing for camp.

We're all looking forward to a great weekend next week on our group camp - bringing together Beavers, Cubs and Scouts!

Last night our Scouts were in full swing covering skills they'll need for our upcoming camp at Moor House Adventure Centre!

Standing on top of a hill only feels great when you planned the route yourself.

Scouts is where young people learn to ask questions, work with a Plan B, and back their own judgement. From camping and night hikes to team expeditions, we give them the freedom to lead and discover what they’re capable of.

Spaces are open for our Scout section (ages 10½–14) this term in Jesmond.

At Scouts, nobody sits on the sidelines.

There are no trials, no bench warmers, and no pressure to be the fastest or strongest.

Every Friday night, everyone gets stuck in together—building shelters, cooking over stoves, tackling team challenges, and having a laugh. If you want your child to build confidence in a friendly, supportive group where everyone belongs, we have limited spaces available this term.

Looking for something extraordinary to kick off the new school term?

Friday nights at 4th Newcastle are about getting stuck in—from paddling down rivers and lighting campfires to learning emergency first aid and building pioneering projects. It’s an evening of fresh air, practical skills, and big adventures with friends.
