Blackfriars Ouseburn Cinema

Blackfriars Ouseburn Cinema The BOC offers Big Screen Movies at Small Prices! With table service and a friendly vibe, it's a unique way to enjoy a good film! Like us to stay informed.

Blackfriars Ouseburn Cinema (The BOC) is a new not-for-profit, pop-up community interest cinema with regular screenings at Blackfriars @ The Ouseburn; a Community Centre run by the St Vincent de Paul Society, opposite the Tanners Arms on Byker Bridge. The BOC will offer a unique way to experience film. Screening in a large beautiful hall with a dimly-lit ‘cabaret style’ table set-up, a traditional

intermission (during longer screenings) and even refreshments delivered directly to your seat! Lookout for our film quiz and costume film parties and singalongs too! Please note: As a pop-up community cinema (just starting out), we can only screen films if we sell enough tickets in advance, so book early to avoid disappointment! If you buy tickets for a film which is then cancelled, we will text and email you at least 2 hours before the screening and you will be given a full refund.
