Diddy Dots Diddy Dots is a fabulously fun and energetic music, movement and Makaton group for babies to preschoolers based in Shiremoor and Gosforth. Booking is essential!

Diddy Dots welcomes babies, toddlers and preschoolers to join us for music, movement and Makaton! Our sessions run on Saturday mornings:
-Shiremoor Library, 9.45am - 10.30am
-The Falcon's Nest, Gosforth - 11.15am - 12pm

Please check our page for specific term dates. Sessions are £4 plus £2.50 for siblings thereafter. We are also now offering block bookings- Book a block of 5 s

essions for £17.50. These can be used flexibly across a term. You can book your place through our page, email us at [email protected] or text/call 07738089176. Payment is taken before the start of the session. We look forward to welcoming you and your diddy dots to have some sing-along-fun with us!

***WE LOVE PARACHUTES!!!***

Our diddy dots love the parachute section of our session, in particular playing Jelly on a Plate! Parachutes aren’t just immensely fun, there are also many benefits of parachute play, including:

🔵 Encouraging cooperation
🔵 Strengthening upper torso
🔵 Refining perceptual skills
🔵 Reinforcing turn-taking/ sharing
🔵 Developing a sense of rhythm
🔵 Requiring following directions
🔵 Promoting social interaction
🔵 Enhancing language development
🔵 Providing the opportunity for play which can be adapted for all abilities
🔵 The possibilities for using a parachute as part of music, movement and storytelling are endless!
