A TURKISH BATHS REVIVAL - The Guardian
Thrilled that our Turkish Baths at The City Baths, Newcastle have made the front page, and a double page feature in today’s Guardian newspaper. It credits our campaign to re-open them along with Fusion Lifestyle, and highlights other groups such as Friends of Carlisle Victorian and Turkish Baths and Health Hydro Swindon looking to re-open theirs too!

Thanks to NewcastleGateshead Initiative for support to facilitate the article.

The remains of many bathhouses built and used by the Romans have been discovered in our region especially along Hadrian’s Wall.
