West End Women and Girls Centre was the first and only open access community based women and girls centre in Newcastle, we aim to build the power of women and girls, who have been and continue to be disenfranchised. The Centre is open to women and girls only, except during room hire.

We were very sad to hear of the passing of long time member and all round ray of sunshine little Margy Bailey. We will be planting a Cherry Blossom tree in our community garden in Elswick Park in her honour on Monday 1st June 2026 at 1pm, all welcome ✨
