Northern Youth Theatre Project NYTP Reg Charity 1173526 NYTP is a community youth theatre group founded in 2012, which was initially based at Heaton Manor School in Newcastle.

Members work together to create all aspects of our productions, including design and marketing, music, choreography, technical operation, front of house, costume and performance. Previous work includes:

Doing it for the LOLs (a devised piece based on 2011 riots and use of social media), September 2012, Northern Stage

Our Story

New members welcome! NYTP is a community youth theatre company. Upcoming productions include Stuff by Tom Wells for National Theatre Connections 2019, and [BLANK] by Alice Birch and Northern Youth Theatre Project which we are excited to be taking to the Edinburgh Fringe, August 2019. We meet at Hotspur School in Newcastle. Members work together to create all aspects of our productions, including design and marketing, music, choreography, technical operation, front of house, costume and performance - and fundraising!
