The Grange, Throckley The Grange is a unique social hub built by the community to offer day care and support services for elders. We now offer an outreach service.

As well as all the support you would expect in a day care environment our users can explore their creative side with arts & craft activities. We have for several years been committed to offering people the chance to undertake meaningful activities that they may not have had the opportunity to try in the past due to social, financial or physical disadvantage. We feel passionately that retirement sh

ould still be a time of discovery and challenge and that people should be offered the opportunity to try new things. Images we show here will show how this work has developed with people taking part in various art projects supported by professional artists. As they become more confident we aim to meet the challenge of offering more and more. If you need a hand around the house, shopping or escorted to appointments we could help. Just give us a call. We also have a meals on wheels service for the local community. If you live in the surrounding area and want a two course lunch delivered please get in touch.
