Thankyou Reiki Rooms for helping parentcarers today take some time out to RELAX. Our parents are the first to admit that they dont do enough self care.
SEN parents are often in a state of "high alert", constantly worrying, planning, researching
, feeling judged, chasing appointments, thinking ahead and feeling so overwhelmed that they cant think straight. We have received wonderful feedback Jacqui from this session and it sounds as though many were able to put all that to one side for a time. Looking forward to seeing you all soon at our coffee mornings which are starting again very soon! Next week on the 25th at Byker is our Funding Morning where Newcastle parents can come along for 1:1 help with a grant application if you need it. There may be one slot left ring 01912818737 to book it! Then on the 1st Oct we will be at Hadrian schools "meet the professionals" assembly morning for the schools new parents. So if youre needing advice or a bit of support or you fancy a chat with other parentcarers come along to our East End Parentcarer meet up at St Martins, Walker on the 2nd October! Cant wait to see you! If you havent been to a coffee group before why not pop by and say hello🥰☕☕☕

Thankyou to everyone who came to our pamper session yesterday at the Far Centre Far House it was great fun and we received some lovely feedback from many of you thankyou so much! We all deserve some Self Care now and again! These wellbeing sessions are in memory of our wonderful coffee group volunteer and friend Julia who sadly passed away suddenly at the end of November 2023. Julia is a huge miss and we want to thank her family for choosing our charity to receive some funding from donations at her funeral to pay towards some wellbeing sessions for parents. Thank you Jacqui Maher for some lovely meditation, Zen and Farillah for fab manicures , the talented Shabnam for beautiful henna art, Amy for showing us her gardening skills plus the Far House Far Centre for their continued support. Also thank you to our lovely helpers... you know who you are 🥰

Thankyou everyone for coming to our Beauty Brunch at the Far Centre on Tuesday.
