We recently had the pleasure of visiting Hadrian School and were blown away by the warmth, kindness and dedication of the staff. It's a truly special place, filled with some pretty amazing people who go above and beyond to support children and families every day. 💙

That's why we're delighted to help spread the word about their Summer Fayre:

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Our Great North Run 2026 team is now complete! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

A huge thank you to everyone who has secured a place and will be taking on the iconic 13.1-mile challenge in support of Reviving the Heart of the West End.

We are incredibly grateful that you've chosen to dedicate your time, energy and training to help us continue our mission of creating brighter futures for individuals, families and communities across Newcastle.

Every mile run and every pound raised will help us continue providing life-changing support through employment, self-employment, wellbeing, volunteering, ESOL and community initiatives that empower people to achieve their potential.

Over the coming months we'll be introducing our amazing runners, sharing their stories and cheering them on as they prepare for race day.

Newcastle, we need you! 🚗✨

Got a car and an hour or two to spare on Thursdays? We are looking for volunteer drivers to join our team and help us rescue surplus food!

What does it involve?
It’s incredibly simple. You’ll collect food donations and drop them off at one of our welcoming FoodCycle venues. That’s it! In just a short chunk of your day, you can help us turn perfectly good food into nutritious meals for people who need them.

🙌 Impact: Make a tangible difference right here in your community.

⛽ Expenses covered: We value our team, so we fully reimburse your mileage.

🛠️ What you need: Just a car, a valid license, and a willingness to help.
