💚 Growing Together – what we’ve learned so far… 🌈

We’re already in Week 3 of our Growing Together summer holiday project and we honestly can’t believe how quickly it has gone!

Over the last few weeks, we’ve learned quite a lot about what makes our families happy…

🌱 The children LOVE watering the plants – sometimes we’re not sure the plants need quite as much water as they receive! 😂
🎨 The mums love colouring in just as much as the children do.
🔎 Everyone loves a challenge – especially a treasure hunt!
🌤️ Spending time outdoors really does make a difference – there’s something about being outside together that encourages conversation, laughter and connection.
💚 And perhaps most importantly… we all love the garden!

We also asked the children to think about the things they feel are important and that they value. Their words were:

💜 Encouragement

We think they’ve summed up Growing Together rather perfectly. 🥰

The project may include ESOL, activities, learning and lots of fun, but what we’re seeing is so much more than that – families spending time together, new friendships forming, confidence growing and people simply enjoying being together.

Three weeks already… where has the time gone? 🌻💚

🌻 Coffee, Cake & Conversation in our Wellbeing Garden! ☕🍰🌿

We held our very first Coffee & Cake Morning in our beautiful Wellbeing Garden today, and it was lovely to see so many smiles, conversations and connections taking place.

The morning was especially for our self-employment clients, giving everyone the chance to take a little time out, enjoy some coffee and cake, catch up with each other and have a tour of our new garden.

Our Wellbeing Garden is really starting to become exactly what we hoped it would be – a welcoming space where people can connect, relax, chat and simply enjoy being outside. 💚

And of course… everything is better with cake! 🍰☕🌻
