ReNEw Young Leaders Essential course is over! We have spent an amazing 6months meeting young people on a regular basis, learning about God, leadership and each other! Some of them have already started this Summer 2026 with volunteering at LifepathBrinkburn - and they had a blast! And much more opportunities to come this summer!
So we have celebrated well! With Ice Creams and Pizzas! Teamwork makes the dream work!

Time flies! We have done our fifth session of Young Leaders Essentials in preparation to our busy Summer!! And this one was so special! Walk to Holy Island together, conquering a lot of things we don’t like, helping each other, connecting with God through silence, singing, eating Ice Creams and much more! Thank you our brilliant team and social helpers who joined us today!

It is also a special day for us as we see one of our reNEw NE community and in particular one of our Equip trainees follow God's call on their life.

He will continue to be involved with reNEw NE but for now he staps back from the roles he has been filling in Wylam, Gateshead and Ashington.

Join us in giving thanks to God for Will Hoy and praying for him as he steps into this new role.

The weekend was busy for reNEw NE volunteers as we had our second Young Leaders essentials! Our group is complete now with 10 young people who are getting ready for their busy summer!

Lent begins this week and we plan to host an online Lent group on Sunday evenings as we did

This will be open to anyone over 18 who would like to join us.

This year we will follow the theme ‘Becoming like Jesus’ and there will be some video input, discussion and bible study
