I would like to introduce the new volunteer resident committee members who will be taking over Merton lodge community centre from the 31st January

The new committee would like to welcome back prize bingo evening due to popular demand. There bingo will run fortnightly on a Wednesday evening 6pm starting Wednesday 15th January. Hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas and new year, we will back open from Monday 13th January. As we reach the last 2 and a half weeks of the centre being ran by ourselves. I will put a separate post up of the clubs we will be running until the handover on the 31st. The centre will be handed over to the new committee on the 31st of January who will then update you all on there plans for the future of Merton lodge and what they will be able to continue. We thank you for all your support 😊

Announcement post: As some of you may be aware NE14.TV who have been running Merton lodge community centre for the past 2 and half years along with myself this year will be stepping back from the running of the centre from January due to our funding running out. We are now in the process of setting up a resident committee which consists of Karbon residents and several others to take over the running of the centre come the end of January. We are currently working with the committee and making plans on ways to fundraise to help keep the centre going for as long as possible and to help fund clubs etc. We want this to be a smooth transition over between ourselves and the new committee so clubs can continue without having to shut them down. This is a great opportunity for residents to be the centre of what happens within the centre but will need your support to help it grow. If anyone could help them with donations to do raffles to raise funds or can donate it will help them massively. Keep an eye out for further updates 😊
