We at wallsend sea cadets would like to say a massive thank you to Wallsend festival on the green for allowing us to come and fundraise. We made an amazing £297.19 all of which will be going to help fix our roof.

I would also like to say a massive thank you to ROBS ICES who has been so generous and kind today.

We had an amazing day of rides, delicious food singing and dancing on the stage and of course ice creams and slushies

Thank you to everyone who supported us today, we met some wonderful people.

We’ve had a great day down at Whitley Bay for Armed Forces Day. A huge thank you to Andy Newman for letting us be a part of the day. We also met a former cadet who was one of the original cadets when we first opened!!

We received donations and many people took part in our games, all in aid to raise money towards our much needed, new roof.
A massive thank you for every single penny and well wishes!
As always, super grateful to have our cadets representing both Wallsend and Whitley Bay Sea Cadet units.

We still have names available for our ‘Guess the Teddy Bear’s name’ - if you want to guess a name from the attached image, it’s £1 per guess. The winner received the fantastic bear as the prize. Please comment on the post your selected name(s).

⚓💙 A much-loved North Tyneside youth organisation is appealing for help after serious roof problems were discovered at its headquarters.

Wallsend Sea Cadets needs to raise more than £50,000 for urgent repairs to ensure it can continue supporting young people for generations to come.

Every donation and share can make a difference.

Last Monday we had the pleasure of having David and Wayne from Police Cyber Security. Northumbria Police

They talked the cadets through the importance of staying safe.

Then got them to do an escape room.

We turned up in style and had plenty of fun.
