A huge thank you to one of our service users' families for the beautiful flowers and chocolates we recently received as a token of appreciation for the care and support provided.

These thoughtful gestures mean so much to us and are a wonderful reminder of why we do what we do. We are incredibly proud of our dedicated and compassionate team, who work tirelessly every day to make a positive difference in the lives of those we support.

🌟 Employee of the Month – May 🌟

We are pleased to recognise Jackie Bellerby as our Employee of the Month for May.

Since joining the company on 2nd March 2026 as a Rapid Responder, Jackie has received consistent positive feedback, reflecting her dedication and compassionate approach to care. She consistently goes the extra mile for the people she supports, taking the time to build trust and develop positive relationships, helping them feel comfortable and confident in accepting support. This has been particularly recognised recently with packages supporting people at the end of their life, where Jackie has shown exceptional compassion, patience and commitment.

Jackie has also shown great initiative, identifying when a family was struggling to manage their home and arranging additional housework support to help them.

Jackie’s kindness, patience, and proactive approach truly reflect the values we strive for, and we are proud to recognise her as our Employee of the Month. Congratulations Jackie! Thank you for all that you do! 💙

Today we say goodbye to our wonderful colleague, Brenda, as she retires after 16 years with our team.

Brenda joined us as a Community Carer and, through her dedication and hard work, progressed to Team Leader. Throughout her time with us, she has been a valued member of the team, always bringing kindness, compassion, and support to those around her.

Her commitment to both colleagues and service users has left a lasting impression, and her contribution over the years has been greatly appreciated by everyone who has worked with her.

While we'll miss seeing her every day, we're grateful for everything she has done and wish her all the very best for the future.

Congratulations on your retirement, Brenda. We hope this next chapter brings plenty of happiness, relaxation, and special moments with family and friends. 💐🎉❤️

As part of Dementia Action Week 2026, Search Newcastle will be at on 20 May from 10am–3pm, alongside partners from across the city.

This special event is all about raising awareness, challenging stigma, and supporting people living with dementia and those who care for them. There’ll be a wide range of local services offering information, advice, and opportunities to connect.

🌟 Employee of the Month – January 🌟

We are delighted to announce that January’s Employee of the Month is Toni Pitt! 👏🎉

Toni, our Rapid Responder, has quickly made a real impact since joining the team. She has been recognised for her responsiveness to service users’ needs, her proactive approach, and the brilliant feedback she has received ⭐

Even outside of work hours, Toni has taken the initiative to pick up and distribute fliers for activities she thought would benefit her service users 🤝💙 Despite being new to the business, she has already identified and acted on numerous situations that have helped prevent potential safeguarding issues. For example, Toni has built trusting relationships with service users living in unkempt environments, enabling her to support them in accepting help and improving their homes 🏡✨

Toni’s dedication, professionalism, and commitment to going above and beyond truly make her a well-deserved Employee of the Month 🏆🌟
