Ok we are all good to go!
All of the beautiful artwork made at the Chilli toffee fire and form event is now through the firing and glazing process and looking fantastic. Thanks to the chilli artists and volunteers for completing the mammoth task of decorating and glazing (carefully following the artistic direction of the creators of course)
everything is available to pick up at Toffee Factory which is open Monday to Friday 8.30am until 5.30pm
The work will be there until the last Friday of August (28th) and you are welcome to drop in and collect your pieces.
Thank you so much for joining us on the day and for showing us your fabulous artistic talent.

The votes have been counted, and our Metal Collective members have made their final decision!!

We're delighted to announce the latest recipients of our community-funded grants, supporting organisations using the power of music to improve mental health, tackle inequalities, support young people, and change lives.

🖤 First Place, receiving £3,000: Make Some Noise

🖤 Second and Third Place, receiving £2,000: Landseer Road Methodist Church and The Irene Taylor Trust 'Music in Prisons'.

🖤 The remaining three finalists will each receive a grant of £1,000 towards their fantastic work:
Colne Youth Action Group,
Chilli Studios, Purbanat.

A huge thank you to everyone who voted and to every organisation that applied this round. The work you do is truly inspiring, and we're proud to be able to support you.

Not long now ☀️

The Ouseburn Festival is back this weekend!

This year we are joining forces with our friends Chilli Studios to bring you "Chilli Toffee, Fire and Form". You can expect market of brilliant creatives selling their ceramics, performances from the Chilli Choir, pottery demos and a chance to get hands on with ceramic workshops.

We'll also have The Cumberland Arms bar, The Saulty Cow and South Tyne Juicery here to keep you fed and watered.

4th and 5th July 12:00pm - 4:00pm
